Yumi

Yumi is Lafeliz’s latest collaboration with Daniel Germani. Comprising a dining table, chairs, and armchairs, this collection embodies a timeless elegance, revaluing the morphological aspects of design classics through a contemporary lens. The generous thickness of the stone and the leather stitching celebrate craftsmanship, elevating the design through material and detail. Lafeliz matures and grows alongside its collaborators. Daniel manages to turn garment-making into play. A designer tailor, where profession and craft merge, giving rise to this collection.

Yumi Armchair (Textile Version)
Upholstered in a super thick texture that is neither bouclé nor flat, proposing a different relationship with the object depending on the distance: one perception from up close, and another from afar.

Yumi Armchair (Leather Version)
Presenting a new skin for the Yumi Armchair: Black leather over a chrome structure. A nod to the classics of modernism, revisited in a version resulting from a technique that matured over time, refining every join and every finish. We explored the material until finding its definitive character. In this collaboration with Daniel Germani, we never stop searching for new expressions.

Yumi Chair
To remain, to be, to take a place at your table. The Yumi Chair arrived to inhabit the spaces where life happens. Designed by Daniel Germani, it is our first webbed-seat chair, designed for extended lounging. A piece where industrial production coexists with the artisanal detail that only human craftsmanship can bestow.

Yumi Table.
This piece reflects a maturity in craftsmanship. Marble is worked through painstaking manual processes to achieve a very delicate yet intricate finish. The chrome frame accompanies that visual cleanliness, balancing the weight of the top with light reflections.
